Stephen King’s novel Duma Key about Human Psychic Powers . Edgar Freemantle the main character  in the story. An ordinary guy, that is wealthy, because he made money in construction but he live an eccentric lifestyle. Needless to say he lost an arm due to a crane accident as he suffers loss of memory as well. In addition his wife left him when he attacked her with a knife during his illness.

Edward moved from Minnesota to Duma Key , Florida because he needed a warm place to help him bounce back. On the Island the sunset is lovely, that inspires him to draw.Needless to say his drawings are detailed , little weird and shadowy. So much so they foreshadows real events or causes them.
