Robert Ludlum’s novel The Parsifal Mosaic about Michael Havelock. A double agent, and how his world halts, as he watches the murder of his partner and lover Jenna Karas. It all happen  on the beach at Costa Brava. Gunned down by his own agency. At this point in time, he feels there is nothing left for him but to quit the game. Not only is he frustrated but with the loss of his lover, life has lost it glory. Where’s the fun. Then in one frantic moment on a crowded railroad train in Rome Jenna appears. He feels he is between a dream and nightmare. He also learns fast that he is marked for death.
