As a boy Robinson Crusoe ran away from home and went to sea, against the wishes of his parents. Their ship ran aground off the coast of Trinidad or maybe Chile . Many of the passengers and crew were lost but Robinson survived. He was able to swim on to the Island. To save his life he eat like the birds, only fruits and seeds.
